SZA, Travis Scott, Ravyn Lenae, Smino: Houston Concert (2017)

I photographed SZA’s "Ctrl the Tour" at Warehouse Live in Houston on October 3, 2017. The energy in the room was electric from the moment Ravyn Lenae took the stage as her opener, setting the tone with her incredible vocals and smooth stage presence. Smino also opened for SZA that night.

Later in the night, my favorite part of the concert was during "Love Galore," when SZA brought out Travis Scott as a surprise guest. This was around the time I was introduced to SZA for the first time, and she didn’t disappoint.
