Tina Turner Tribute by the Houston Symphony

In September, I went to the Houston Symphony’s Tina Turner Tribute at Jones Hall, and the energy in the room was exciting. Hearing the Symphony bring Tina’s music to life alongside Tony Award winner Adrienne Warren was special.

Tina Turner personally handpicked Warren to play her in Tina: The Tina Turner Musical on Broadway, and you could tell immediately why. Her vocals, her movement, and her presence on stage captured Tina’s naturally. It was an incredible night from start to finish. Thoroughly enjoyed attending.
