The Rouxpour in Houston

The Roxpour is a New Orleans inspired restaurant chain in Houston. For this review, I checked out their Baybrook location. I had their flounder stuffed with crab, bacon-wrapped jalapeño peppers, and half a dozen oysters on the half shell. The food was good.

However, the experience was marred by lackluster service. Despite the price point, our waiter was disappointingly inattentive, rarely engaging with us and seeming to rush through our meal. The hostesses at the front also appeared disengaged, contributing to a sense of unwelcomeness.

On a positive note, the restaurant's interior design was cool, complementing the overall ambiance. Despite not being pleased with their service, the food itself was good. Considering that, it’s hard for me to recommend.
