Airi Ramen in Baytown, TX was the perfect stop this week for a cozy, satisfying meal. I ordered their Tonkotsu Ramen, which features a flavorful pork broth and comes with pork chashu, a seasoned egg, fishcake, green onion, nori, bean sprouts, and kikurage mushrooms. I added an extra egg and spinach to round it out, and every bite was just as comforting and rich as I hoped. The chashu was tender, and the broth had that creamy umami depth that makes Tonkotsu such a standout.

The vibe at Airi is relaxed and welcoming, with great service that’s attentive without being overbearing. It’s casual, but everything about the experience was great. I didn’t get any appetizers or dessert this time, but the ramen more than filled the spot. If you're in the Baytown area and craving a solid bowl of ramen, Airi should be on your list.
